We hear a lot about peace, and see way too much war, but what is peace really? Is peace tangible? Can we measure peace in our world and in our-selves? Yes, we can.

Peace is like a wave of love, gentleness, and calm washing over you inside and out. A melting away of stress, chaos, and fear in all its insidious forms. Peace is the absence of the emotions that represent thoughts of inadequacy, unworthiness, and abuse of all kinds; verbal, mental, and physical.

Peace is when we are allowed to live our lives freely, without bombs blowing up our homes and business’, and rockets killing our children and loved ones. Peace we can see. War we can see. We can cut war with a knife . . . it chokes, it destroys, it leaves us in pieces. War itself is a weapon, used purposely and deliberately to gain undue riches in the name of freedom, liberty, and justice for all. The most effective campaign slogan in world history for the advertisement of legalized exploitation and theft of person and property.

How we seek peace while in the midst of war, I do not know. I am an American, and war has rarely touched our soil since we wiped out or imprisoned the original immigrants over 200 years ago.

The peace we do have control over is inside us. In our minds, our cells, our tones, our words, and our actions. In any given moment – if we’ve developed a strong mind – we can enter the peace of love, mercy, and forgiveness.

Focusing on the highest potential of a situation is paramount because we must envision the outcome with the most good for all involved. And that takes power. A powerful understanding of the world around you, and your place in it. And a willingness to leave your ego at the door, knowing the little-bugger is lost in the delusion of hubris. Your ego is not to blame. Its job is to give you a healthy dose of self preservation through individuality. And that is a good thing. Just make sure you are the master and your ego is your servant.

How can you effect your world? With your thoughts, which then automatically usher in the corresponding emotion. Emotion is the magnet! You hold peace in your hand. Will you embrace it? When you do, you will help countless peaceful-peeps usher in a new era of peace-actualized.

Peace be with you, dear friend“.
